As part of our new topic, ‘Around the World’, we have journeyed to the Australian outback, to the jungles and rainforest of South America and to the savannah grasslands of Africa. We have looked at lots of animals and their habitats. We have enjoyed role play ‘on safari’ spotting lots of the animals we have been chatting about. We have learnt about the Tanzanian artist, Edward Tinga Tinga who used lots of recycled and colourful things in his paintings of African animals. We’ve had fun producing our own artwork in Tinga Tinga style.
