For World Book Day we read the Gingerbread Man. At Forest school, we found little Gingerbread Man hiding in the trees. We re-enacted the story in the Rainbow Room using masks. We baked gingerbread men at the dough kitchen. We also read lots of other stories like the Tiger Who Came to Tea and The Three Little Pigs. Mr Hullabaloo came to visit us. We loved his puppet show. It made us giggle and laugh a lot!
We had fun learning all about space. We created our own planets using junk materials and we painted planets using puffy paint. We worked as a team to make a giant class rocket ship. We had some sensory fun playing with the moon mud and galaxy water. We loved reading “Whatever Next” by Jill Murphy and blasting off to space in our own cardboard box.
