This week we have loved exploring the signs of Winter. It has been really cold, frosty and icy and we have been using these words to describe things that we found outside. We loved making marks in the frost and we have left lots of frosty footprints outside on the grass.
Socially we have worked together to share resources and we have developed our physical skills by bending and stretching to make dens. We have even carried heavy loose parts and have put them on top of the tarpaulins to hold them down. We have developed our Thinking Skills by discussing how best to make a den, and by coming up with new ideas every time it fell down. Emotionally we have developed a real sense of achievement when our dens stayed up. We know that if something doesn’t work the first time, then we keep trying our best.
