We have been exploring the theme “Colour and Emotions” in Nursery. We created colour collages, painted rainbows and experimented mixing the primary colours. We read the story “The Colour Monster” and created our own colour monsters to represent our feelings. We discussed what makes us happy and sad. We learnt about the famous artist Wasilly Kandinsky and made our own version of his famous paintings.
We celebrated Anti-Bullying Week by having an Odd Socks Day. We learnt 5 little speckled frogs, 5 currant buns and 5 little ducks as part of Nursery Rhyme Week. We also had a visit from the postman, Jo Jingles and Gathering Drum. We have had a very busy month!
