Traction Man in P2CB

Primary 2 have been diving into the exciting adventures of Traction Man and his many daring missions. Using all of their senses, the children explored the story to develop the rich vocabulary needed for their writing. This immersive approach allowed them to share ideas, discuss their thoughts, and build confidence with language before committing to paper. Through the creation of story maps, the pupils retold the narrative in their own words. We also integrated drama and dance to bring the story to life, helping them to express the plot through actions. As part of their learning, the class was presented with a fun challenge: one of the school bears had gone missing, and Traction Man needed a new outfit to rescue him! This creative stimulus sparked their imagination and allowed them to apply their descriptive language in writing, producing thoughtful and detailed paragraphs.
