After studying the topic of British garden birds, the P3 classes in Dundela all became ornithologists and joined in the Big Garden Birdwatch. We designed and made bird houses and bird feeders, and then we watched and waited until the birds came to visit our gardens. After we counted the birds, we made good use of our Maths skills by creating block graphs from our findings. We’re going to keep on feeding the birds in our gardens so that we can enjoy watching and listening to them. They make us feel really happy!
