Spring has sprung in Nursery
The children have been enjoying exploring the signs of Spring and observing the flowers growing in our school grounds. We have been painting daffodils, further developing our scissor control skills by cutting up leaves, and we have also made a lovely herb and vegetable wall. We have been learning about seeds and discussing what plants need to grow and we are enjoying watering all of the seeds and bulbs that we have planted. For Forest School we have been using leaves and bark to make rubbings and we even made our own hungry caterpillar using natural resources. All of the children are focusing on recognising their names, making patterns and retelling stories. We are so proud of them!
