On World Book Day we gave the entire school day over to all things reading-related and we certainly had an action-packed time. We held class word search and craft competitions as well as a fairy tale quiz, and we also really enjoyed playing the “Masked Reader” game, although we discovered how tricky it was to identify the teachers’ voices. Our “Book Swap Shop” was a huge hit (thank you Mums and Dads for helping us with this!) and everyone went home with colourful and exciting new books to read. And, of course, we stuck with the tradition of dressing up as our favourite book characters (thanks again, Mums and Dads!) and it was quite the imaginative fashion show - as you’ll see from our photographs.
