Today in P1 we had a very special visitor - a real life nurse!
Nurse Ruth came to chat to all the P1 classes and told us all about what it is like to be a nurse. We got to see her uniform and some of the special equipment she uses. She taught us how to dress a wound and wash our hands properly! We learned so much!
Ruth said the best thing about being a nurse is that she sees people come into hospital feeling and looking very unwell then get to go home much better. Now lots of our P1 children would like to be a nurse when they are older!
