P3 B/K enjoyed a maths session all about money. We bought items in our Christmas shop role play area and played games on our Interactive whiteboard and class computers. The children also thought of different ways we could make certain amounts using different coins.
We looked at the colours and shapes of coins and talked about the value of money and ways it could be spent and saved.
The children were delighted to find an Elf getting up to mischief in our Christmas shop!
