It was lovely to welcome the Nursery children to Dundela in September to our newly refurbished setting. The boys and girls are settling in well and are enjoying a range of indoor and outdoor play activities daily. We have been enjoying getting to know one another through our ‘Special Me’ books, listening to stories, playing in the sand, water, large construction play areas and being creative with the dough, painting, loose parts area and engaging in imaginative play through small world play areas of the farm, fire station and dolls house. Outdoors, we have been enjoying digging in the builders yard, making models with our big loose parts, mark making with chalk, clipboards, and felt tip pens, playing musical instruments and exploring the climbing frame and see-saw. We have also been having a yummy healthy snack in Nursery each day and are looking forward to staying for our school dinners soon!
