Developing a passion for Rugby in Dundela
27th May 2024
This week Primary 3 were delighted to welcome ‘Rugby Roy’ into our school. For many of the children, it was their first experience of this sport and we are sure….. it won’t be their last. They enjoyed learning how to pass and receive a rugby ball, played a simplified game of touch rugby and competed in relay races using rugby balls.
This has ignited an interest in the sport and during lunchtime outside many of the children are opting to play rugby with Mrs Brown, our Primary 3 classroom assistant.
in Dundela, we continually prioritise every pupils’ physical development for their health and well-being.
“Play or exercise? A child’s body doesn’t know the difference, but their mind tells them when they are having fun.” (Youth Fitness Guy)
