We have had the best time reading lots of new stories about feelings and talking about the different characters in them. We have shared what makes us happy, sad and angry, and discussed ways to make ourselves feel better again.
We have strengthened our finger and hand muscles by using tongs, tweezers and pipettes, and by pouring and scooping water, mud, rice and sand. We used ribbons and wool to thread and we worked hard to tie them into knots. We even made faces in Forest School using leaves and twigs.
Today Joe from The Gathering Drum came to see us. We listened carefully, followed his instructions and had a wonderful time playing the drums. We tapped them loudly, quietly, really fast and really slow. Our hands were a bit tired at the end, as we were so busy! We can’t wait until Joe comes back again. Nursery are super musicians!
