As part of our topic All Around The World, we had great fun looking at the pictures and paintings of Edward Tingatinga. We loved all the bright colours he used and how he made his animals all a little bit different than the real thing. We talked about how his bright backgrounds looked like an African sunset and these colours made the animals stand out. We did our paintings in two stages. First we painted our backgrounds and then we made our animals to stick on. We think they look cool!
