Celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week in P3H
23rd Feb 2023
It is well known that physical activity is beneficial in improving children’s mental health. This year, our mental health activities centred around children's physical health. Each day had a theme and was fun packed with plenty of opportunities for our children to be active indoors and out.
The children participated in yoga, team games, mindful walks, ‘The Daily Mile,’ Zumba and we welcomed our neighbours from Dundela Football Club in to complete exciting games with the children.
Each day our School Council organised physical resources for all children from P1 to P3 to play with. These ranged from scooters to football nets for penalty shoot outs.
What a fun and busy week! Well done boys and girls! 💪💪💪
