In the aftermath of storm Isha it was still very gusty around our school grounds so P1W opted to have an indoor Forest School session. We chatted lots about the seasons, the weather and why in winter time we need to leave food the birds. We chatted about the sorts of things birds like to eat. Then we made our own bird feeders using an apple, sunflower seeds and string. It was a great activity for our fine motor skills because we had to push the tiny sunflower seeds in really hard. We got take our bird feeders home!
