We have been diving into the dino-mite world of dinosaurs! From stomping through Forest School on a dinosaur hunt to creating their very own junk art dinos, it’s been a busy time for our Nursery Seedlings and Saplings.
We learnt fascinating dino facts and practised saying those tricky names like Triceratops and Stegosaurus. We looked at fossils and the children had a go at drawing their own. We made dinosaur skeletons from cotton buds and stamped giant dino footprints in paint. We had some sensory fun with jelly and dinosaur slime. The children loved creating roaring dinosaur photos using our green screen technology. We explored the frosty outdoors, practising mark-making while soaking up some fresh winter air. We’ve also been brushing up on our dental skills. Every day, we have been brushing our teeth and learning why it’s so important to keep those smiles shining bright!
