Anti-Bullying Week 2024 - Theme: Choose Respect
We’re excited to announce that Anti-Bullying Week is coming up from November 11th-15th, and we have a fantastic lineup of activities planned to help the children learn about the importance of respect, kindness, and inclusivity. This year’s theme is "Choose Respect," focusing on the positive impact that respect for one another can have in our school community and beyond.
Why do we celebrate Anti-Bullying Week at Dundela?
Anti-Bullying Week is an important time for us to come together as a school community to reinforce the values of kindness, acceptance, and respect. It’s a dedicated week for children to learn more about recognising, understanding, and responding to bullying. By teaching our pupils about respect and empathy, we aim to foster an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported.
Fun Activities Planned for the Week
Throughout the week, we’ll have various activities to help bring the message of “Choose Respect” to life for our children:
- Tuesday 12th Nov – Odd Socks Day: Children and staff are encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate our differences and uniqueness!
- Wednesday 13th Nov– World Kindness Day: We’ll be focusing on acts of kindness, both big and small, to show how positive actions can lift up our entire school.
- Thursday 14th – Anti-Bullying Assembly: We’ll gather as a school to reflect on the importance of respect and understanding, learning more about how we can make our school a kinder place.
Thank you for supporting us in making Anti-Bullying Week meaningful for our pupils. We look forward to an inspiring week of learning and fun that will leave a lasting impact!
