We have been learning all about jungle animals. We read the story Handa’s Surprise and acted out the story at the small world tuff tray. We made animal masks. We loved being tigers and lions! We sang and moved to the song “Walking in the Jungle”. We worked together to make repeating pattern giraffe pictures. We used different loose parts at the dough to make animal homes.
We have also been getting outside to enjoy the sunny weather. We have planted lots of different herbs on our herb wall. We planted our own carrots and onions and we also potted some plants. We took a walk to the allotment and we saw some strawberries starting to grow.
