An exciting end of term in P3H
What an exciting end of term we have had! We all became ‘Play Champions’ by completing the ‘Spaces to Be’ Programme. To end the programme, we welcomed Wilson into school. He taught us about cultural diversity through African drumming and telling us more about his African culture. The cross community link with Holy Evangelist Primary School was a core element of the Programme. Last week we welcomed some of their pupils to Dundela to play in our beautiful school grounds.
This term we worked with local artist, Heather Green on painting a shared canvas that will be displayed in her own art exhibition. Heather has created many of her own mythical creatures for Belfast Lough and we had to create our very own Belfast Lough Monster. Such creativity and imagination displayed by the children.
