Welcome to the Learning Support section of our website. I have the very rewarding and wonderful job of providing Literacy, Numeracy and Newcomer Support to our children in P1 to P3. My role is very busy as I support 8 different groups of children per day, to help develop their confidence, understanding and thinking skills within aspects of Literacy and Numeracy.

Through multi-sensory activities, we have lots of fun in our small groups as we learn many things, working both independently and with our friends. We love to learn “silly rhymes” to help us retain spelling of tricky words, as well as bursting into song to recall our sounds! In Numeracy, we use Numicon to help us with many aspects of maths, such as exploring the different ways to make a number, odd and even numbers and adding 2 numbers.
